He was a special part of our family, the leader of our pack, and will always be remembered with love and admiration. It was an honor to give him that in return. We are grateful for the time we had with Rags and the memories we made together, knowing that throughout his entire life with us we upheld our promise to him of "No Bad Days". We can all take comfort in the fact that Rags will never be forgotten, and that his spirit will always be around us. His passing was a reminder of the joy and love he brought to our lives, and the memories of him will remain in our hearts forever. His unconditional love and affection was a source of comfort and strength for us. He was always by our side, no matter what we were doing or where we were going. Rags was a loyal companion who brought us joy and laughter every day. His spirit lives on in all of it, and it's a testament to the impact he had on the world that his memory is so deeply embedded in the everyday moments of life. It's clear that nobody loved every corner of life more than Rags. And of course, in every hotdog you leave unattended or that sandwich you thought was safe right there on the table for 30 seconds while you grab a drink. Rags lives on forever in the squirrel population that has no idea how lucky they just got. He is even in your spot on the couch 2 seconds after you get up, or nestled up in your freshly made bed or pile of clean laundry. He can be found in every scrap of food that gets dropped anywhere ever, on every beach, headfirst into the waves, or belly up on a soft sun soaked patch of grass, or camouflaged into a leaf pile. Such is the case with Rags, whose spirit lives on in every sunrise, every tennis ball, every fire engine siren, and every long walk or good smell. It's a beautiful thing to see how the ones we love can live on forever in the memories of those they left behind. He held a special place in his heart for his "Dogmother" Auntie Em who he trusted enough to finally ride an elevator with after months of refusal (living on he 5th floor.) He had more friends (canine and human) than every human listed above had combined, and he loved them all. He never resisted an opportunity to give his favorite Auntie Owee a million kisses or cuddle with his favorite Uncle Patrick. He was a proud puppy uncle to Leigha, Gray, Brooke, & Vince and relished in the fun they had swimming together in his favorite bay spot beneath Strawberry Hill. He spent countless days along the water in Hull, Massachusetts where both sets of his Grandparents lived & was loved dearly by his Papa & Lulu, Nana Nance, Grandpa Ron, and was met on the other side by his Big Papa Eddie. He is survived by his Dad, Pauly as well as his Mama Chelsey and Step-Papa, Timmy and his lifelong friend and human "puppy" brother, Cashman. His journey was peaceful and he was surrounded by love, covered in kisses and held close by his Mama and Daddy, with his Papa Timmy close by his side. On Friday, February 3rd, 2023, Our beloved Rags took his place in the cosmos as a true forever dog. Ragnar " Rags" Lodbrok Finigan Currier Dunphy
